2010 sees the return of Robert Downey Jr.’s starring role as the armoured superhero Iron Man whose everyday consists of being Tony Stark, the billionaire inventor. With the world now aware of his double life, Stark faces pressure from the government, press and even the public to share his invented technology with the US military.

Unwilling to let go of his invention lest it fall into the wrong hands, Stark, along with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, must forge new alliances and confront powerful enemies.
